Primarism  - A concept I created where each piece is developed by placing random, intersecting lines onto paper while I add and subtract color until the piece is complete.  The word "Primarism" pulls from the Latin words 'primatus' and 'primus' meaning "original, not a derivative" and is supported by archaeological findings or criss-crossing lines made by Neanderthals, dating over 39,000 years old.

I control the lines and add color to complete individual pieces to make up larger sets of work under my specified theme.  I began with Animals in 2017 - 2018, then worked on my second set of People under in 2018 using this concept.
